    National Black Theatre Festival

    Hosted by the North Carolina Black Repertory Company, the National Black Theatre Festival is a biennial Winston-Salem event celebrating excellence in professional black theatre. Catch performances of 20 new and classic works over six days.       Annual Rock the Block

      This music festival has four stages, each hosting bands of different genres. Rock, country and bluegrass, jazz and r&b, and beach music are the featured genres every year at Rock the Block.             This annual event is dedicated to promoting racial harmony and peace. The production is based on Dr Martin Luther King Jr's renowned "I Have a Dream" speech.
